Um fim de semana de equilíbrio dos chakras nas Montanhas Magaliesberg este mês de março
Se sente que precisa de “desligar” da rotina e voltar ao essencial, este retiro foi pensado para isso: um encontro colaborativo em plena natureza, num espaço seguro para nutrir o corpo e a alma. O Imbabali Retreat & Venue fica aninhado no sopé das pitorescas Montanhas Magaliesberg, a cerca de uma hora das cidades movimentadas de Joanesburgo e Pretória. Aqui, o convite é regressar ao ritmo da terra - com fauna a circular livremente e flora em abundância. As encostas criam o cenário ideal para atividades ao ar livre, como caminhadas, observação de aves, BTT e piqueniques.
Vamos começar pelo Chakra Raiz e avançar gradualmente até ao Chakra do Terceiro Olho. Cada prática, meditação e sessão de respiração estará ligada ao chakra correspondente. Ao longo do fim de semana, também vai aprofundar o entendimento do sistema de chakras como um todo e aprender formas mais conscientes de promover equilíbrio e harmonia no seu próprio sistema energético.
Itinerary
Friday 21st March
9:00 Arrival
9:30am Welcome and introductions – a short grounding and breath work exercise to help everyone settle in.
10:30am brunch – Eating meditation :Root chakra. Brief discussion on how food supports the root chakra, how we can more effectively engage with the experience of chewing, tasting and practicing gratitude.
4:00pm Yin class (90 mins) – Sacral chakra. Yin Yoga is a slower, more mindful practice. Poses are held for 2-5min. The theme of the class will be around activating and working with your sacral chakra.
6:30pm dinner
8:00pm Talk on the Chakra system (30 – 45 mins) Having a better understanding of the Chakra system can help support and correct possible imbalances in your individual chakra system as they may arise.
Saturday 22nd March
7:00am Vinyasa flow – naval chakra. The naval chakra focuses on confidence, personal power and transformation. This class will focus on core strength, dynamic movements with energising sequencing.
8:30am breakfast
12:00 Meditation : process for the heart chakra. This meditation session will encourage the connection with your heart centre. When our heart chakra is balanced, we can experience a deeper sense of openness, kindness and emotional harmony.
1:00 pm lunch
4:30pm Yoga class and 20 mins mantra chanting : Throat chakra. The throat chakra allows us to speak our truth with confidence, to express our creativity and actively listen to others. If it is blocked we may struggle with self-expression. Chanting is an excellent way to balance the throat chakra.
6:30pm dinner
8:00pm Talk on how to work with the chakras as part your daily routine / yogic lifestyle Our intention is for you to not only interact with your Chakra system over the weekend but to also learn tools and techniques that are easy to incorporate into your everyday lifestyle.
Sunday 23rd March
7am morning walk / hike. There will be the option of two groups for those feeling energetic and those who may prefer a slower pace. All meeting together at the dam to close with a Brow Chakra meditation.

12:30 Pranayama practice
1:00pm Reflections on the weekend. Before leaving there will be an opportunity for you to ask any questions on the chakras that may have come up for you over the weekend. Or perhaps you may feel like you have reflections and feedback you would like to share with the group.

Taryn Elise Herselman (Ma Aakash)
Is the director of Shakti Yoga Therapy and Teaching Academy in Gauteng, an internationally accredited training facility.
Ma Aakash is a qualified yoga therapist and internationally trained yoga teacher with over 17 years of teaching experience. She is also the Director of Yoga Alliance International South Africa and AFRICA, appointed by Swami Vidyananda.
